Back home, the coffee culture we grew up with was shaped by a beautiful, intentional balance of premium Arabica and Robusta beans. It was a time-honored combination that offered a bolder energy, lower acidity, and a smooth profile that was incredibly gentle on the stomach. It wasn't just a drink; it was a ritual of hospitality that energized the body and comforted the spirit.

But here in the fast-paced rhythm of modern life, we found ourselves drinking cup after cup of standard coffee, still reaching for a midday spark, or dealing with the digestive discomfort that often comes with highly acidic roasts.

Crafted for those who appreciate the smooth, nuanced notes of specialty Arabica but crave the rich crema, structural depth, and functional "kick" that only premium, high-altitude Robusta can provide, this is the exact coffee we wanted for our own kitchen. What’s Behind the Name “Noosh”?

Ever wondered what Noosh means? Our non-Farsi-speaking friends ask us all the time, so here’s the story!

Phonetic: /nuːʃ/ (rhymes with "koosh" or "loose")

In Farsi, Noosh means "to drink", but it carries a much deeper sense of wholesomeness, vitality, and pure enjoyment. When translated, it evokes beautiful concepts like a toast or cheers—all powerful symbols of life, health, and celebration.

In Persian culture, you will often hear the phrase "Noosh-e Jan" offered to guests as they eat or drink, meaning "May it nourish your soul" or "Let it be sweet comfort to your life."

We chose the name Noosh because we wanted something deeply rooted in Persian culture that is also easy to pronounce globally and radiates pure positivity. We wanted coffee to be more than just caffeine—it is a vehicle for wellness, a moment of connection, and an authentic taste of comfort.
