The Origins Story

Corquín, Copán, Honduras

Nestled in the mountainous region of Copán, near one of Central America's most celebrated cultural landmarks, this coffee is produced by members of Cafescor (Cafés Especiales Corquín), a farmer-owned cooperative established in 2012. The cooperative brings together 131 producers who share a commitment to quality, sustainability, and community development.

Cafescor supports environmentally responsible farming practices while helping members improve quality and market access. Coffee is cultivated between 1,200 and 1,700 meters above sea level, where cool mountain temperatures and fertile soils create ideal conditions for producing specialty-grade Arabica.

The cooperative's dedication extends beyond coffee production, investing in local communities through educational initiatives, children's programs, and sustainability projects that improve the quality of life for farming families throughout the region.
